Update options
New and improved features
AI Thread Summary is now available in the mobile app (Android)
AI Thread Summary, which uses AI to summarize information posted in threads, is now available in the Android version of the Kintone mobile app. This makes it possible to quickly catch up on the flow and key points of a thread discussion even during short pockets of time, such as while commuting.

JavaScript API: field change events can now be used on lookup fields too
The field change events can now be used on Lookup fields too. This allows processing for Lookup fields to be written consistently with other field types. In addition, the Lookup field values included in record information retrieved via the JavaScript API or events will now include a Boolean indicating whether the lookup has been performed, and the record ID of the looked-up record. This makes it possible to build customizations based on looked-up values more accurately and easily.

Front-end infrastructure renewed for the "Search", "Assigned to me", and "Settings" screens (mobile)
To improve the speed of future product improvements, the Kintone development team is progressively renewing the front-end technology infrastructure that has been in use since the initial release, screen by screen. This time, the front-end infrastructure has been renewed for three mobile screens: Search, Assigned to me, and Settings. There are no major changes to how these screens operate or look.

Note: continued availability of the toggle between the old and new "Notifications" screens
In the July Product Updates, we announced that the option to switch back to the old Notifications screen was scheduled to be discontinued in the August release. However, we have revised the release schedule for this update, and the option to switch to the old Notifications screen will continue to be available in the August release as well.
We will announce the end-of-availability date for this toggle in a future release notes update.

Below are features currently under consideration. You can try these features by enabling them on the Update options screen in Kintone administration. We welcome your feedback on these features. Please submit feedback via the Help us improve Kintone form.
Note that features under consideration may undergo specification changes or have their availability on the Update options screen started/ended at any time, not just during scheduled maintenance.
Front-end infrastructure renewed for the "Exported files" and "Export aggregation result to file" screens

There are no changes to how either screen operates.

Update options
Update Options is a tool that allows administrators to control how Kintone updates are applied. Using the options, administrators can choose when to roll out updates to their team.
To access Update Options, click the gear wheel to the left of the search bar and select Kintone administration. Select Update options under Other.
