AI App Settings Review: Smart Checks for Your App
Kintone enhances the app configuration process with AI-powered reviews. This feature allows Kintone administrators to register specific guidelines for app settings, which the AI then uses to review each app's configuration.
With this capability, app administrators can receive tailored feedback to identify and address areas for improvement. This not only streamlines management but also ensures apps operate safely and comply with internal rules and policies, ultimately reducing management costs.
Kintone will further bolster app security by developing additional mechanisms, such as ensuring AI reviews are automatically executed whenever apps are published or their settings are updated.
To take advantage of this new feature, simply enable AI App Settings Review in Kintone AI Management. You can find this option by clicking the gear icon in the navigation bar.

Configuring App Settings Review AI
To set up the App Settings Review AI, access the App Settings Review page within the Kintone Administration. This page allows you to effectively manage and configure the App Settings Review AI settings.
Rules and guidelines for app settings
Kintone administrators can establish internal guidelines for app settings, including rules for app administrators to follow and strategies for improving user-friendliness.

AI Review of App Settings
When the feature is enabled, a Review app settings button will be visible on the app settings page. Clicking this button will initiate an AI review of the settings.
App settings reviews are based on the content registered on the App Settings Review page. Adjusting the review process is easy by modifying the registered content.
Smarter Record Import Options
You can now choose whether imported data overwrites existing records or is added as new entries by using the Only add new records option.
File imports are now simpler and more user-friendly.
This update streamlines the import process, enabling you to focus on individual settings without managing multiple configurations at once.
Previously, specifying a Key to bulk update was required to determine whether to overwrite records during field mapping.
Save & Auto-Apply Your Import Settings
The file import page now features the ability to save import settings for future use. When a file with the same column order and field names as your saved settings is selected, the configuration is automatically applied.
This enhancement streamlines the import process by eliminating the need to reconfigure settings from scratch for each import, increasing efficiency and ease of use.
Import settings are saved on a per-user basis and are specific to each app.
Effortlessly Re-Import Unread Rows with Ease
In the file import feature, if any rows remain unread after an import is completed, a button will now appear on the Imported files page, allowing you to re-import the file.
Clicking this button takes you directly to the Import from file page for the target app, where you can select the updated file.
This allows you to continue configuring the file without losing your previous settings.
This functionality was originally introduced in December 2021. However, it became unavailable after December 2024 due to the transition to a new file import method. With this update, the feature is now available again.
Feature Improvements
Choose Your Decimal Separator for Seamless Data Mapping
When setting up data mapping on the file import page, you can now choose whether the file uses a period or a comma as the decimal separator. In regions where languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are spoken, a comma is commonly used.
This update allows users in those regions to import files using the numerical format they're familiar with.
Revamping the Front-End Foundation
The Kintone development team is updating the front-end technology foundation that has been in use since the initial release. These enhancements improve layouts and components across multiple pages, including the Import from file and Imported files pages.

Get the Status of Keyboard Shortcuts via the JavaScript API
The JavaScript API now allows you to check the status of keyboard shortcuts across multiple pages—including the record list, record details, new record, and edit pages.
This feature improves navigation and enhances the overall user experience.
Construct URLs for More Kintone Pages with the Build Page URLs API
The Build Page URLs API now allows you to construct URLs not only for app pages, but also for Portal, Space, People, Messages, Search, Notifications, and Kintone Marketplace pages.
This enhancement makes it easier to create operations and navigation UIs that involve page transitions within the user interface.

Update Options is a tool that allows administrators to control how Kintone updates are applied. Administrators can choose when to roll out updates to their team using the options.
To access Update Options, click the gear wheel to the left of the search bar and select Kintone Administration. Select Update Options under Other.
