Streamlined Process Management: New Flexible Status Management Features

Improved features for managing status updates have been implemented, extending beyond the traditional actions limited to specific assignees. Now, it is possible to enable new actions that can be performed by other users, even if they are not the designated assignees.
For example, you can configure actions that let a team member update the status on behalf of an assignee who has been away for a long time. Furthermore, the requester can now revert the request's status without waiting for the assignee's confirmation.
This increased flexibility broadens the scope of business processes we can manage effectively.

Example 1: Allowing the Assistant Manager to Update Status on Behalf of the Manager
If the section manager is absent for a long time, you can establish a process that allows the assistant manager to review requests and update their statuses as needed.

Example 2: Allowing the Requester to Revert Status to Its Original State After a Change
You can set up a process that allows the requester to revert the status to its original state if a mistake is found.

Example 3: Skipping Intermediate Approval for Urgent Requests
For urgent approvals, you can create a process that permits the final approver (the manager) to bypass confirmation from the assistant manager (the intermediate approver) and directly update the status to "Completed."

Redesign of the Administration Page Header
The front-end infrastructure of the Administration page header has been successfully updated.
Refer to the announcement regarding the App Settings Facelift for a comprehensive explanation of the changes made to the front-end architecture.

New Features Under Consideration

You can explore the new features the Kintone development team is working on. To test these features, go to Kintone Administration, select Update Options, and adjust the settings under New Features under Consideration.
You are invited to use the Help us improve Kintone option to share your feedback on these new features. Your insights are highly valued!
Please note that new features under consideration may undergo specifications changes or be discontinued at any time, even outside regular maintenance periods.

New "App Administrators" Column Enhances App Management

The App Management page now includes a new column labeled App administrators. This enhancement allows Administrators to see the number of app administrators for each app quickly.
Administrators can optimize and improve settings by identifying apps with too many or too few administrators. This feature is available exclusively to Administrators and enhances the overall app management experience.

Update Options

Available Update Options

Update Options is a tool that allows administrators to control how Kintone updates are applied. Administrators can choose when to roll out updates to their team using the options.

To access Update Options, click the gear wheel to the left of the search bar and select Kintone Administration. Select Update Options under Other.
