A search feature has been added to the Notifications screen. You can search by keyword or narrow results by specifying a sender or date range. This makes it easy to revisit past notifications based on a partial memory of their content — such as a message you briefly noticed, or a notification you received from someone last week.
A search box and a button for advanced search are displayed on the Notifications screen.
Advanced search allows you to search by date range and sender. Note that notifications older than the retention period (70 days) cannot be searched.
Notifications can now be marked as read in bulk from the Notifications screen. Instead of clicking through them one by one, you can select multiple notifications at once and mark them all as read — even without opening the notification details.
Turn on the Bulk manage toggle on the right side of the Notifications screen. Checkboxes appear on the left side of the notification list, allowing you to select multiple notifications. Select the notifications you want to mark as read, then click Mark selected notifications as read to mark them all as read at once. Notifications not currently visible on screen cannot be selected in bulk.
Grouped notifications can now be expanded. Previously, only the most recent notification in each group was shown; now you can efficiently check earlier notifications in the group without leaving the page.
Clicking X others on a grouped notification expands it to show all notifications received from that same source.
Granting the "Export to file" permission to the "Everyone" group can now be restricted in Kintone administration settings. When this restriction is enabled, app settings are checked when saving app permissions or when activating or updating an app. If the settings are in violation, an error is displayed. This prompts app administrators to configure the appropriate users who can export record data.
In the iOS Kintone mobile app, you can now add handwritten annotations and text to photos when attaching files. This makes it easier to convey information and intent clearly when sharing photos for reports or reviews — for example, by circling an area of interest or adding a text note for additional context.
When attaching a file, you can add handwritten annotations, or insert text and shapes to a photo taken on the spot or selected from your library. You can change the pen type, line thickness, and color from the menu at the bottom of the screen, and add text or shapes using the ⊕ button. Undo and redo operations are also supported.
The Kintone development team is progressively rolling out front-end updates across various screens to accelerate future product improvements, modernizing technology that has been in place since the initial release. The renewed Notifications screen, previously offered as a feature under consideration starting in February, is now being released as an official feature. Along with the front-end update, the layout and components of the Notifications screen have also been updated. In the May 2026 release, the current Notifications screen remains the default, with a button in the top-right corner to switch to the new screen.
For details on the front-end update initiative, see the February 2023 Product Updates page.
In updating the screen, the layout and features have been redesigned to make checking and handling notifications more intuitive. For example, the notification list has changed from a tile layout to a list layout. Notifications are also now displayed in a unified chronological order regardless of their read or unread status.
Tile layout where the display varies by notification content
Unread and read notifications displayed separately
Notifications organized and displayed in a list format
All notifications displayed together regardless of read/unread status
Easier to find and process notifications using filters and search
By moving the notification filter controls from the top of the screen to the left column, the new layout features up to three columns: filters, notification list, and notification details. This makes it easy to switch between filters, and allows you to efficiently check notifications from specific apps or Spaces.
The migration to the new Notifications screen is planned according to the following schedule.
An AI category has been added to the Kintone administration screen, making it possible to open the Kintone AI management screen directly from the Kintone administration screen.

From the Kintone AI management screen, you can enable or disable AI features overall or individually, and configure detailed settings.
