New Features
A new feature called Apps Referencing This App has been added to the app settings. This feature lets users quickly identify apps referencing the current app using Lookup and Related Records functions.
With this update, users can confidently perform maintenance and modify app settings.
Example of a Customer Database app being referenced by the Inquiry Management and Sales and Leads Management apps using Lookup:
Kintone has introduced a new feature that enables each app to specify permissions for editing or deleting records directly from the record list view.
App administrators can now manage whether records can be edited or deleted from the list view. Editing and deleting are turned on by default.
This improvement guarantees that records can only be added or modified through the record details page.

Introducing a New File Importing Method for Improved Performance
A new file importing method for Kintone is finally available. The current method has been known to affect Kintone's performance, leading to slower operations. In response, the Kintone development team has developed and implemented a more stable importing method to minimize performance issues.
As a result, the current file importing method will be discontinued to make way for this new and improved approach.
Efficient Error Handling in File Import Process
When using the new file import method, if there are rows in the file that cannot be imported due to errors, you have the option to skip those rows and import the remaining data into the app. The rows that cannot be imported due to errors will be listed in a CSV file along with details of the errors, which can be downloaded for review. This file allows you to check and correct the mistakes, making it efficient to reimport the data that were not imported.
With the current file import method, nothing can be imported into the app if even a single row has an error. Additionally, only the first error during the import process could be detected, resulting in repeatedly importing and correcting the file for each issue.
Stop Importing File Data Further If an Error Is Detected Option
Importing of Lookup Fields
The new file import method now allows you to specify Lookup fields, even if their references are not Prohibit duplicate values fields. The current file import method does not allow this.
Previously, before designating a Lookup field as an import target, the field to which the Lookup field refers had to be temporarily set to the Prohibit duplicate values setting. Additionally, Lookup fields whose reference field was not set to Prohibit duplicate values were not displayed on the file import page. This led to users misunderstanding that importing those Lookup fields was not supported.

The update eliminates the need for users to constantly move the cursor to the right edge of a record or scroll horizontally to access the Edit or Save button.
You can enable this feature in the Update Options setting in Kintone Administration.
