This marks the second appearance of Kintone, a custom-build business application platform, in a Gartner Magic Quadrant report since 2016.
In this report, Gartner analysts note that high-productivity, or rapid application development and deployment, platform technology in the cloud is growing swiftly as enterprise IT increasingly exploits cloud-based tooling with reduced skill requirements.
Lines of business owners and citizen developers can customize Kintone’s low-code application development platform to better manage their departments and processes more efficiently with easy to build and deploy internal applications, freeing up IT resources for more mission critical projects.
“We are very humbled by Gartner’s recognition in this 2017 Magic Quadrant report,” said Dave Landa, CEO, Kintone. “The Application Platform-as-a-Service (aPaaS) market is evolving and maturing rapidly, and we at Kintone have seen a real demand for a platform that can make a difference by making business workflows more efficient while empowering lines of business managers to build the applications they need to be successful.”
